Another E-series master piece annouced – Nokia E52

Nokia has announced another E-series phone Nokia E52 which will be launched sometime during second half of this year.

Nokia E52 is said to be a socio-business smartphone with few high end unique capabilities. E52 features include everything which is required in a business phone, additionaly it also supports Windows Live, Yahoo! instant messaging, Facebook, YouTube, MySpace and all of Nokia’s own Ovi services. E52 comes with 60 days of free Files on Ovi service, and also has access to Ovi Maps for turn by turn directions when driving or walking on the street, credit goes to the aGPS support and built-in electronics compass.

 

Other specifications of E52 include 2.4 inch QVGA display, 3.2MP camera with flash, full music player, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone port for wired stereo headphones and Bluetooth A2DP stereo support for wireless headphones. It also has built-in noise cancellation to make and receive crystal clear calls.

Like other S60 smartphones it features a full HTML web browser. Major differenciating factor is browser’s landscape orientation and built-in Flash support. Phone is 9.9mm thick. 

Phone supports super fast HSDPA/HSUPA data support on 3G networks.

E52 comes with Nokia Messaging for quick setup of email accounts and folder support. There’s even HTML email viewing when connected to a Microsoft Exchange 2007 server – and the phone supports IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, as well. To handle editing of documents E52 has Quickoffice suite. for additional security all files and information on the device and memory card (1GB microSD is included) can be encrypted.

Battery life of the phone is best in its class. Is is claimed that the phone will offer 8 hours of talk time and 28 days of standby time.

Initially E52 will be available in black, gray, and golden aluminum color.
